HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2024

Dear friends, I had the honor of attending a political event, where, to my surprise, pastors of evangelical churches were invited, prayers and biblical texts were heard. However, you need to understand that in our time, famous Christian figures often go against what is pleasing to the Lord. A common characteristic of such relationships is compromise. Why? Power, money and fear of people become their snare. It is difficult to withstand such circumstances and remain undefiled, following the examples of Joseph, Esther, and Daniel.

If the Lord opens doors to the world of politics, this mission must be fulfilled. But with all this, you need to steadfastly and faithfully hold on to the end, without fear of people. After all, “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord will be safe.” (Proverbs 29:25). There is also a great misfortune when Christianity is so mixed with politics that people, leaving the living principles of Christ, begin to defend the principles of the filthy ungodly evil world. Unfortunately, this can be observed against the backdrop of today's war. People not only display feelings of hatred, enmity and non-reconciliation, but also in their pride they allow themselves to think that their nationality is superior to another, wallowing in arrogance and lies. Deception, worldly pride and love for earthly things deprive such a person of the love of God. That is why love has grown cold in many, because earthly things have become more valuable than heavenly things. Their hearts cling to earthly things.

Let us stand firm in the love of God!
